Who is JAKSMA Foundation?​​

Jaksma Foundation is a U.S.-registered 501(c)(3) public charity committed to expanding access to structured opportunities for exceptional students in underrepresented regions.

We operate a selective, multi-year fellowship model designed to identify high-aptitude secondary students and accelerate their preparation for globally consequential careers in technology, research, policy, and institutional leadership. We believe talent is globally distributed. Access to structured acceleration is not.

Our Rationale​

​

Global challenges increasingly require technical expertise, institutional literacy, and strategic thinking. Yet many high-potential students in West Africa lack early exposure to rigorous mentorship, advanced academic preparation, and structured university pathways.

Jaksma exists to close that structural gap. By investing early and tracking outcomes over time, we aim to expand the pool of individuals prepared to contribute meaningfully to global decision-making and innovation.
