In May 2025, Jaksma Foundation formally launched a structured International Secondary Scholarship Track designed to support 15 high-performing students from Grade 10 through Grade 12 within accredited international-standard high schools in Côte d’Ivoire. The program is structured as a three-year commitment, with an estimated total investment of up to $30,000 per student across secondary schooling. Following its launch, the initiative entered an active fundraising phase, with scholarship distribution scheduled to begin in the 2026/2027 academic year.
The objective is long-term trajectory development rather than short-term aid. By embedding academically capable students within internationally benchmarked secondary institutions during Grades 10–12, the initiative strengthens university readiness and global competitiveness.Students will be selected through academic performance review, leadership assessment, and long-term potential evaluation. The scholarship framework integrates:
Tuition sponsorship
Academic monitoring and mentorship
Structured university pathway guidance
Targeted exam preparation where required
In parallel, Jaksma Foundation is engaging international foundations and universities to develop scholarship pathways for tertiary education. The goal is to create a continuous progression from secondary education into internationally funded university opportunities.
The May 2025 launch marked a strategic transition from small-scale sponsorship initiatives toward structured, multi-year institutional placement. Implementation will begin with the 2026/2027 academic cohort.
